Welcome
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, relationship problems, or simply a sense of feeling stuck or lost. Whatever you are going through, you do not have to face it alone. Counselling can help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings and support you in finding a way forward.
I am a qualified, trauma-informed Humanistic, Person-Centred Counsellor based in Westonzoyland in the heart of the Somerset Levels. I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role as a counsellor is to offer a warm, safe, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and explore what is happening for you at your own pace.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, down-to-earth, and tailored to your individual needs. I aim to build a genuine therapeutic relationship founded on empathy, respect, and acceptance, helping you to develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional wellbeing.
I offer face-to-face counselling in Somerset, as well as online counselling and telephone counselling across the UK. Sessions take place in a dedicated, comfortable counselling room where confidentiality is always maintained, providing a calm environment to talk and reflect.
I work with adults, children and young people, offering both short-term and longer-term counselling. Appointments are available during the day (9am–6pm). A limited number of concessionary sessions are available for clients on a low income, in education, or receiving benefits.
If you are looking for a counsellor in Somerset, or online counselling anywhere in the UK, I would be happy to talk with you about how therapy might support you.

Why choose therapy?
Therapy offers a supportive, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply seeking personal growth, counselling can help you move toward a healthier, more balanced life.
A Safe Space to Be Heard
Therapy provides a non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself openly and honestly. It’s a place where your experiences are validated and your voice matters.
Clarity and Self-Understanding
A counsellor helps you make sense of what you’re feeling, identify unhelpful patterns, and understand why certain challenges keep showing up. This clarity can be the first step toward meaningful change.
Tools for Everyday Life
Therapy isn’t just talking—it’s learning. You gain practical skills to manage stress, improve communication, regulate emotions, navigate relationships, and cope with difficult situations.
Support Through Life’s Transitions
Whether you’re dealing with loss, stress, anxiety, trauma, or major life changes, therapy gives you steady, compassionate support when you need it most.
Personal Growth and Better Well-Being
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling. Many people choose therapy to understand themselves better, build confidence, and create a more fulfilling life.
